Hailing from the sunny state of California, DJ Dimepiece, the oldest of two girls was always a go getter, even at a young age. Her mother instilled Music, The Arts and Sports within her childhood curriculum with education always being a priority, with that, DJ Dimepiece was shaped into the determined and competitive person that she is in all that she does. Upon losing her parents simultaneously in the same year, She relied on DJing to pull her through as her mother always encouraged her to pursue her dream of radio and DJing. DJ Dimepiece strives to do that daily with her parents memory and her passion for DJing as her motivation.
Dimepiece came to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her college career at Fisk University. Always desiring to get into radio, Dimepiece began interning at the University’s radio station, 88.1 WFSK to interning at Blazin 106.7 to landing a part time position as an on-air personality/DJ. She joined Huntsville, Alabama’s number one hip hop and R&B station, Power 93.3. Through hard work and dedication, DJ Dimepiece soon landed a position at Cincinnati’s 101.1 The WIZ, Monday through Friday from 10pm-2am on her specialty show, “Dime Time Radio” where she hosted and mixed.
In February 2011, DJ Dimepiece relocated to the country’s third largest city, Chicago to pursue her career in radio and become a prominent DJ. Soon after her relocation, Chicago’s number one station, 107.5 WGCI-FM hired DJ Dimepiece making her their first female Mixer and on air personality. She spun on weekends hosting and mixing on the airwaves as and in some of the city’s premiere clubs.
Now The ‘Mixin Vixen’ has landed in one of the fastest growing cities in the Country, Columbus, OH. She was named the night show host for Power 107.5 in Columbus, OH. The sky is the limit for this radio star!
