Don Samuelson, 65, entered a no contest plea to a felony count and was sentenced last month to three years probation and ordered to pay a $672 fine. Samuelson is seen at right in a mug shot taken at the time of his plea.
Samuelson, a University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine professor, used a camera pen to surreptitiously film two students on four separate occasions last year, according to a police report.
When investigators confronted Samuelson about his videos, the educator claimed that he was
“attempting to gather proof”
that one of the victims
“was not wearing undergarments”
in class, which he thought was
“inappropriate.”
