WATER COOLER TALK: Meet Eric Eugene Hartwell in 1991 Hartwell was convicted of raping a child, age six, and in 1996 he was convicted of trying to do the same to a pregnant teenager. He served time for both convictions and his many violations while serving his time. Upon his release he was sentenced to wearing an ankle monitor for life and reporting to a halfway house.
In 2009 Hartwell cut off his ankle monitor and fled to Texas he was later captured and returned to monitoring. Now Hartwell has cut off his ankle monitor again and is on the run! Federal authorities are currently looking to recapture him, but I ask you should they give him another ankle monitor or do you think Hartwell should be thrown back in jail?
