TMZ is reporting that Da Brat, Shawntae Harris, has been ordered to pay 3.7 million dollars to ex Atlanta Flacons cheerleader Shayla Stevens for a 2007 melee. Stevens sued Da Brat in 2009 while she was in jail serving time for aggravated assault.
The trial hit a bump in the road Wednesday when a juror admitted he wasn’t a U.S. citizen but it seems that the new jury quickly reached a guilty verdict in court today saying she was responsible for the permanent facial scarring, neurological impairment and sever mental pain of Stevens.
