Severe storms possible this afternoon and tonight!
A frontal boundary will move into Central Ohio this afternoon. Warm and moist air will allow for showers and storms to develop into the afternoon. Some storms may become severe with large hail and damaging wind, mainly late this afternoon and into the early evening. Windy conditions are likely with some gusts up to 30 mph outside of thunderstorms. Temperatures will climb into the mid 80s.
Tonight, showers and storms will diminish by sunset. We stay partly cloudy and muggy overnight with temperatures falling to near 70.
Another shot at severe storms into your Tuesday with large hail, damaging winds and heavy rain possible, mainly East and Southeast of Columbus. Temperatures will reach the lower 80s on Tuesday.
Scattered showers are possible into Wednesday with highs near 80 and dramatically less humidity.
Thursday and Friday will be nice days with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the low to mid 80s.
The heat and humidity makes a big come back again by the upcoming weekend.
