Ya know…at some point, a pet needs to be a pet. A woman in Canada is raising money to pay for her cat’s gender assignment surgery. Colleen Clarke-Murphy says Mittens was born a hermaphrodite, and the procedure to turn her into a male will cost $1500. She’s currently raising money for the procedure through Facebook. Colleen says the money is worth is because the cat has become part of the family. And a part of the pocketbook.
