1. Every Tuesday in February, from 7am-6pm, the Ohio Statehouse will celebrate Black History Month. And at noon, there will be a special display and free historical performances. Visitors can also enjoy a special soul food menu at the Capitol Cafe each Tuesday in February. More info here.

2. The Columbus Library will have different black history events throughout the month. Thursday, the Livingston Branch Library presents Anthony Gibbs: Courage in the Skies: The Story of the Tuskegee Airmen. Gibbs chronicles the Tuskegee Airmen’s participation in World War II. Their struggles, sacrifices and determination on the ground and in the air will inspire all generations. It starts at 5pm. More info here.
