1. This evening, United Way of Central Ohio is hosting the “Champion of Children Signature Event” at the Southern Theater. The theme of this event is “Boys of Color, Boys at Risk” and features a discussion of how the community can improve educational and life outcomes for boys of color. It’s from 5:15pm – 8:15pm. 2. Tomorrow, the Sheet Metal Workers is having a Veterans Job Fair. Constructions trades apprentices coordinators will be on hand to meet with military veterans who want to start careers in the construction industry. It’s from 2-5pm at 3031 Lamb Avenue in Columbus.
