1. Tonight there’s a Children’s Halloween Party. Children in the East Long Street area are invited to wear their scariest costumes to visit the Haunted Basement. There will also be food, games and fun. It will be at the Alla Baba Temple #53, 988 East Long Street in Columbus, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Saturday is the HOOT Family Film Series. HOOT is a monthly festival of films from around the world. Enjoy live music by the Shazzbots and stimulating activities for families including games, story readings, and more! All presentations in HOOT are “G” rated and admission to the series is free with a suggested donation of a canned good to benefit The Open Shelter. It will be at the Gateway on campus, 1550 North High St, from 2-4pm.
