An Indiana woman faces charges for allegedly beating two children after the children found and unwrapped Christmas gifts, reported Indiana’s Greenfield Reporter, which obtained court documents.  The woman allegedly hit the two children, including one with a mental disability, in the face with a belt and threw them against walls.

The woman, 36-year-old Sascha D. Collins from Greenfield, faces two level five felony counts of battery: “battery with bodily injury to a person under the age of 14” and “battery on a disabled person.
