Sean is an experienced attorney in the fields of serious personal injury and civil rights litigation.  Prior to opening Walton + Brown, LLP, he was an attorney with The Cochran Firm, the prestigious firm founded by legendary attorney Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr.  Sean is also a Certified Contract Advisor with the National Football League. He represents athletes as co-founder of ELITE Sports and Entertainment Agency, LLC.

Sean is active in a number of community and professional organizations, including Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; 100 Black Men of Central Ohio; John Mercer Langston Bar Association; National Bar Association; American Association for Justice; Ohio Association of Justice; National Crime Victim Bar Association; National Police Accountability Project; Ohio State Bar Association; Columbus Bar Association; and the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association.

Sean is a member of the Board of Directors for the John Mercer Langston Bar Association, where he serves as Chairman of the Solo/Small Firm Committee. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Capital University African American Law Alumni Association. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Africentric Personal Development Shop, Inc., an innovative behavioral healthcare center specializing in the prevention, treatment and recovery of addictions.

Sean was recently invited to serve on the Executive Committee of the National Black Lawyers, an invitation-only organization comprised of America’s top young attorneys who take pride in advocating for individuals, families and business in the American legal system

Sean lectures frequently on issues ranging from knowing your rights and how to properly document instances of excessive police force to trends and best practices in personal injury and civil rights litigation.
