Its probably about time you give up drinking soda.
A Coca-Cola plant in Northern Ireland was temporarily shut down when human feces was found inside cans.
The cans arrive at the factory, empty and without a top. They are then filled with cola and capped before heading to distribution to be sold across Northern Ireland. The topless cans arrived from Germany and jammed up the plant’s machines during the overnight shift. After investigating, it was found that human waste inside the cans was the reason.
The plant was shut down for 15 hours to clean up the unsanitary conditions.Coke insists all the tainted cans were caught, and no products sent out to the public were affected. The company has teamed up with local police to determine just how the excrement ended up in the cans in the first place. It’s currently unclear at one point during the supply chain that the human feces could have gotten into the can.
Im not falling for that, plus i don’t drink pop anyway
“The problem was identified immediately through our robust quality procedures and all of the product from the affected production was immediately impounded and will not be sold. This is an isolated incident and does not affect any products currently on sale,” Coca-Cola said in a statement.
