DETROIT, MI – Big Sean has always represented his hometown since the start of his career, and now city officials have given the G.O.O.D. Music artist a valued honor. The City of Detroit and Mayor Mike Duggan awarded the rapper with a key to the city on Saturday (April 1), due in part to Big Sean’s philanthropic efforts.
Sean posted an image to his Instagram of the city key, as seen above.
“Today I got one of the highest honors a person can receive, the key to the City Of Detroit. The mayor said he’s given it to 3 people… Stevie Wonder, Berry Gordy, and Me. I’m the youngest person to receive this in the history of the city!” the 29-year-old Sean wrote in the Instagram caption.
