On Sunday, July 16, which is apparently “Ice Cream Day,” I guess, you can grab a free soft-serve cone at a nearby McDonald’s. In order to get your ice cream without parting with your dough, you need to download the McDonald’s mobile app.
Then you have to present that offer, which will appear under “My Deals” in the app, at either the drive-thru or restaurant counter between 2 and 5 p.m. in order to complete this less-complicated-than-it-sounds transaction.
More importantly, just by doing this same exact thing, you or some other lucky SOB could win free ice cream for life if you happen to be the one person who walks out of your local McDonald’s with a brass and gold-plated cone replica.
