The violent white-nationalist rally in Charlottesville has led to organizers trying to bring their agenda to New York.

Marilyn Mayo, a senior research fellow at the Anti-Defamation League’s Center on Extremism said, “They promote white European culture and have tried to recruit students . . . to their cause.”

According to The New York Post, the white supremacists group was founded by Nathan Damingo, a former Marine and ex-con. He had protested in the past and stands behind the motto, “One People One Nation No Immigration.”

Back in February the group led a protest to talk about their demands to end immigration to Time Square.

On the campus of Columbia University and Mercy College Westchester, 200 pamphlets were distributed to students. The group was not welcomed, but we will keep you posted on what possibly could happen in NYC.
