Kevin Williams, director of university housing and residential life said, “Within the past week, there have been several instances of inappropriate and arguably discriminatory behavior. This email is a reminder that all residence halls … are inclusive environments that promote safety and respect for all members of the community.”

Two freshmen students, Halle Ray and Madison Brown spoke out about the incident and Ray said, “I was mad, but I had to calm down. We just had to think things through, like, what are we gonna do next?”

Student Government at Temple University sent out a notice on the issue and spoke about how the students involved could face criminal charges.
