During Jay-Z’s performance at Meadows Music and Arts Festival he not only shouted out Kaepernick, but also dedicated his performance to him. Recently the NFL spoke out about the alleged rumor and had a lot to say about the Super Bowl.

The spokesperson said, “No decisions have been made on the performer(s) and we are not going to speculate on particular artists. Along with Pepsi, we know that we will put on a spectacular show. When it is time to announce her name we will do it. Or his name. Or their names.” We will keep you updated on when the names of performers are released.
