After this weekends comments of Trump calling NFL players protesting during the national anthem “son of a b****” and tweeting about Steph Curry people are speaking out. Michael Jordan, who hasn’t said much recently spoke out about Trump according to BET.

Jordan said, “One of the fundamental rights this country is founded on was freedom of speech, and we have a long tradition of nonviolent, peaceful protest. Those who exercise the right to peacefully express themselves should not be demonized or ostracized.”

The former NBA player also believes that we should be working and coming together more. With statements like this from Trump it’s not helping and just creating more division. Jordan also mentioned that he supports Commissioner Adam Silver and the NBA player who choose to exercise their right.
