Michael Jordan has been involved with NBA heavily since retirement. According to The Charlotte Observer, the Hornets owner just made a donation that will help develop two medical clinics in Charlotte communities that need it the most. Novant Health is making the announcement soon and talk about Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Clinics.

The clinic is expected to open in the year 2020 and will help over 35,000 patients. Jordan’s spokesperson recently said, “Michael really wanted to do something personally, he and his family, in the North Carolina area, separate from the work we’ve done with the Hornets,” Portnoy said, adding that the idea for the clinics specifically emerged during the Novant discussions.”

This is one of Jordan’s biggest charitable gifts since donating $5 million to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture. Adults and kids that can’t afford healthcare will get the opportunity to get treatment at these clinics and we are so happy Jordan is helping the community.
