The family of sisters, Ashley McFarlin, 19, and Skylar Mangum, 15, are heartbroken after the girls ran off in the middle of the night. According to The Black Loop, the sisters sang gospel in Detroit and are very close. Their mother, Maria Mangum recalls the last time she saw them and spoke about how they are good students that don’t get into trouble.

McFarlin had met a 28-year-old man on Blackpeoplemeet.com and the two packed a bag and left at nearly 3 am. Mangum’s husband saw the oldest leaving and tried to stop her, but couldn’t. Moments later the younger daughter left wearing her pajamas and with no bag.

The sisters went into a car that was parked at the end of the block and drove off. The mother of the sisters mentioned that before leaving the house the oldest cut off her braids and she loves her hair. The family wants them to come home and the mother said, “Please call, she said. Just let us know you are okay.” We hope these young girls go home and are safe.
