Well thanks to Complex i can’t get my phone working back to normal, or at least i won’t look crazy tweeting and having an A?.

The issue, which The Daily Dot says emerged when Apple pushed their iOS 11.1 update live, essentially makes your phone predict that the letter “i” should actually be “A[?]”. It’s not only forced Tyrese to type an “!” every time he wants to say “I” on Instagram, but it’s pissed off a number of users.

For those who are mad AF and can’t take it anymore, don’t trip: Apple is working on a fix. They aren’t sure of the true number of users who are affected, but if you are affected and don’t want to wait for the 11.2 update to get out of the nightmarish beta stage, Apple has posted a simple workaround for this bug.

Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement.

Tap +.

For Phrase, type an upper-case “I”. For Shortcut, type a lower-case “i.”

That should do it! Now just proofread so you won’t have any errors lol
