Safaree’s always been proud of his Jamaican background, never hesitating to fire off statements in Patois, or groove to the latest Dancehall/Reggae tunes.
Recently, he took to Instagram to ask for support on behalf of his favourite Dancehall Artist, Bounty Killa.
Considered one of Jamaica’s greatest Dancehall Artists, Bounty Killa was one of the few Artists that had his American Visa revoked in 2010.
Many speculate that it was due to his stance against the LGBT community in his lyrics, but no official statement was made about the matter.
Campaigning through Change.org however, Safaree asked his 1.1 Million followers to sign a petition in support of the Dancehall Artist. His Instagram post on the campaign can be found below.
