Hit them books, kids.

You may know by now that CeCe love the kids! So I love to spread any exciting news that the kiddies will love.

The Columbus Metropolitan Libraries are set to kick off this year’s reading challenge. It’s a nine-week program that will track the kid’s reading progress. It is free to join as long as you have a library card.

“Readers can earn points by reading any item they choose, by finding secret codes, attending programs at the library or reviewing favorite books,” said Kathy Shahbodaghi, Public Services Director.

The best part both kids and adults can get in on the challenge! A great way to spend some quality time with the kids while they strengthen their reading skills. You can thank me later.

The CML started Saturday, June 2.
