Rain, rain, go away!

It was a rainy start to this year’s Columbus Arts Festival on Friday. Many braced strong winds and rain to protect their artwork.

“This bridge gets very windy, I rented these water barrels one in back one in front and I have double weights on the corners,”  jewelry creator Kristin Perkins explains.

Saturday the rain, for the most part, has stayed away bringing many to experience the artwork under the sun and hot conditions.

Arts Festival organizers at this moment say they will not cancel due to rain. If conditions worsen then they will re-evaluate that decision.

The Arts Festival goes on throughout the weekend until Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
