Change to the name from Mega Millions, to Mega Billions because the US Lottery jackpot is still continuing to grow after there were still no winner Saturday night.
The current jackpot is now set a combine $2.2 billion dollars with the Powerball and Mega Millions., marking the largest prize in history.
The numbers drawn Saturday were 62-16-54-57-69 while the Powerball was 23. Nobody won on those figures and the Powerball jackpot has since climbed to $620 million in which the winner can opt for a cash prize of over $354 million where the federal government takes an immediate 25 percent off the top when the numbers are drawn on Wednesday.
The Mega Millions jackpot hasn’t been hit since July 24th when 11 workers in California split a prize of $543 million. The last time anyone won the Powerball was on August 11th in New York for $245 million.
