After a record setting season, Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins was selected as one of the Heisman Trophy finalist Monday evening.

Haskins, who led the Buckeyes to a 12-1 record and a Big 10 Championship, will join quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa of Alabama and Kyler Murray of Oklahoma.

Haskins leads the country with 47 touchdown passes and 4,580 yards, however, Tagovailoa seems to be the favorite, as he led the Crimson Tide to an undefeated season beating every opponent by 22 point or more. He suffered an ankle injury in the SEC Championship game Saturday but back up QB Jalen Hurts stepped in ad led Alabama to victory over Georgia.

The winner of the Heisman Trophy will be announced Saturday at 8pm in New York City and will be aired on ESPN.
