Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have finally begun work on the third Bad Boys film. Following years of rumors and discussion, Smith revealed production has started on the long-awaited follow-up to 2003’s Bad Boys II in an Instagram post Monday
The trilogy is expected to star Jacob Scipio and Armando Armas, who will pose a major danger to Smith’s character and the Miami PD at large in the film. Paola Nuñez will portray Smith’s love interest in the film, a tough criminal psychologist named Rite. Vanessa Hudgens, Vikings star Alexander Ludwig, and Riverdale’s Charles Melton will also appear in the film.
Bad Boys For Lif3 is currently scheduled to premiere on January 17, 2020
