Love is in the air-or maybe it’s not! Either way it goes there is always something to do to celebrate or completely denounce the captivating holiday! After doing a little research I found a plethora of things to do in the city of Columbus in honor of Valentine’s Day. The entire week prior and up to the big day, you can find several entertaining activities to join in on whether you’re single or taken.

If you are single and looking for a fun night, anytime through the 17th of February, hop on the BYOB Valentine’s Day Dive Bar Trolley Crawl! Get on the vintage style trolley and look for love throughout the city’s’ dive bars. If cuddling is more your style, visit the Cat Welfare Association Shelter! They are featuring reduced adoption fees so you can find a cute cuddle buddy and help an animal in need of love and a new home. And if you’re still searching for something more fitting why not visit a restaurant or two and enjoy some of the specials being offered. Qdoba, California Pizza Kitchen and Buca Di Beppo are just a few offering awesome deals like 2 for 1 specials and free desserts for you to savor.

As you can imagine I found a ton of activites for you and your main squeeze to enjoy! If you want to step out of the ordinary dinner and a movie vibe, check out this list I pieced together for you to nab some cool ideas!

  • Valentine’s Day Paint & Pour at Camelot Cellars
  • Wine Tasting at The Bottle Shop
  • Melting Pot’s Week of Romance
  • Horse drawn Carriage rides at Easton
  • COSI After Dark- The Science of Love
  • Candle Lab Valentine’s Date
  • Valentine’s Party and Airplane Ride at JP’s BBQ Ribs and Chicken at Bolton Field
  • A free Valentine photo at Easton’s Central Park Fountain

Any of these options will offer up an exciting night for you and your loved one this Valentine’s Day!

If you rather stay in for the night, grab a Valentine’s Day in a Box from Cameron Mitchell and enjoy a complete romantic dinner for two “in a box”. It includes an intimate four-course dinner for two, partially cooked with easy instructions for finishing in the comfort of your own home.

Some of us may to be able to agree our children are our forever Valentines. If you’re also looking for something to do with the kids, Rusty Bucket offers a Kids Eat Free Day for children 12 and under!
