You read that right! The first medicinal marijuana dispensary is opening next week in Columbus.

The dispensary chain, Terrasana plans to open a total of four retail outlets total in upcoming weeks. The first being opened in Grandview.

Dr. William Kedia is the owner and Chief Medical Officer of Terrasana. He says they will be offering single units of marijuana flowers for $40 each. This set price is said to be about 20% less in comparison to opening prices at other retail outlets throughout Ohio.

Kedia says his expertise as a physician will be another thing that will set Terrasana apart.

“Being a physician, my goal is to treat the medical condition and I fully believe that based on the strain, based on the condition, that there is a therapeutic benefit to using cannabis and cannabis-related products,” Kedia said. “I’m hoping that the state finds its way to add more qualifying medical conditions to the list that we can start treating people not just for PTSD for example but for depression and anxiety.”

Terrasana plans to open retail dispensaries in Cleveland, Fremont and Springfield.

The addition of the Terrasana retail outlet brings the total to 12 medical marijuana dispensaries with certificates of operation.

The Columbus store is located at 656 Grandview Avenue just off I-670. Terrasana will open next Tuesday, March 26th.
