The Cleveland Browns introduced Odell Bekham as the newest member of the Dawg Pound Monday at a press conference at Browns headquarters in Berea.
Beckham, the former Giants star wide receiver who was traded to Cleveland last month, has huge expectations to fill coming in with hopes of getting the Browns into the playoffs for the first time since 2002.
Beckham said he has finally “come to grips” with the deal and can’t wait to play again with Landry, his former LSU teammate. Beckham called the trade “the biggest blessing of my entire life.”
The 26-year-old Beckham said he greeted new Browns coach Freddie Kitchens with a big hug and told him he loved him.
“It’s like a love story,” Kitchens said.
