(AllHipHop News) 2 Chainz is an Atlanta legend — which is exactly why he is dabbling into the lit sports teams in his hometown.
The 41-year-old rapper has been known to unleash some of music’s biggest hits, most recently “NCAA” on his album Rap Or Go To The League
Fittingly enough, he recently announced purchasing a minority ownership stake in College Park Skyhawks, the Atlanta Hawks’ G League team.
Tity Boi is teaming up with Hawks owner Tony Ressler and Grant Hill to celebrate a new venture as a team effort.
As evidenced in his last album’s name, 2 Chainz knows a thing or two about basketball.
The elite rapper played college hoops at Alabama State before transitioning into the music full-time.
In an official press conference at North Clayton High School, 2 Chainz stated, “I’m just thankful for the blessings I have.”
Skyhawks fans and 2 Chainz fans are in luck, as they are now able to purchase t-shirts with 2 Chainz’ signature look on them.
