According to an expert Paul Dolan, a professor of behavioral science at the London School of Economics and best-selling author of Happiness By Design.
He states that women are happier without a marriage and children. Also that science will back up this claim.
“Married people are happier than other population subgroups, but only when their spouse is in the room when they’re asked how happy they are. When the spouse is not present: fucking miserable,” he said, per The Guardian.
These studies are both applied to men and women, and is said to have a more negative effect towards women when it comes to marriage. For example you expect to see a woman at the age of 40, with children and happily married. But that isn’t the case of most women. Dolan also noted that that the social stigma of singledom at middle age might make some women feel pressured or unhappy at times.
There are plenty of benefits when it comes to be being single, and childless.
