Summer is here and I am already seeing a spike in gun violence in our communities. According to FOX 28, police are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened in East Linden early Sunday morning.
Just before 5:00 a.m., five people were shot in the arms and legs outside Toros Motorcycle Club on Genesee Avenue, per police. Detectives say someone was thrown out of the club 30 minutes before the shooting happened and this may have led to this incident.
Police say a white Crown Victoria is the vehicle of interest in the drive-by shooting and they haven’t found any suspects yet in the crime.
All five victims are in stable condition, with three people at Grant Hospital and two at Riverside Methodist Hospital, police say.
This is a developing story and will be updated when more information is available.
