Megan Rapinoe, the US Women’s National Soccer Team’s Co-Captain refuses to go to the white house after being invited because of their soon to come victory. She stands strong with her opinions saying ” I’m not going to the F***ing white house”. Critics have said that “Megan should WIN first before she TALKS! Finish the job!” and adding that he is “inviting the TEAM, win or lose”. She still stands strong against the way she feels and people are standing behind her. One of her teammates stated “will sit this one out as well. I don’t support this administration nor their fight against LGBTQ+ citizens, immigrants & our most vulnerable.”
