Ohio Media School Presents: City School Tour - Columbus Downtown High School

With growing school threats and children just wanting to learn. The city of Columbus wants to make sure all of its students are safe and can focus on their education. Columbus is hiring an additional 31 security guards for the schools. This means that some elementary schools and administrative buildings will finally have security guards keeping the building safe. The school district will be spending around 1.7 million dollars to get their numbers up to 84 guards. Having this many guards will mean that there will be a lower ratio for security to keep and eye on what is going on in these schools.
