Today, the Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck announced that a man who shot and killed two teens in his garage back in August is facing murder charges!

According to reports, on the night in question, August 28, 2019, Victor Santana called 911 and advised dispatchers that three teens had trespassed into his garage, and something they weren’t expecting to hear; he had shot two of them.

Police arrived on the scene and found the caller on his front porch.

The bodies of 17-year-olds Javier Harrison and Devin Henderson were found lying in the garage. A third person was also involved but had fled the scene once shots were fired. They returned to the home on Conners Street and was removed from the scene by police.

The homeowner and shooter, 63-year-old Santana is now indicted for four counts of murder, one count of attempted murder, and five counts of felonious assault. All of his charges include three-year firearm specifications.

Prosecutor Mat Heck expressed that, “when the legislature amended the law on self-defense, it did not give people the right to just shoot anyone on their property. A person cannot kill someone for trespassing.” He also added that what the teens had done was absolutely a crime, but not a one punishable by death.

Victor Santana will be arraigned on December 5th at 8:30 am.
