First there was H-D. Coming soon: 3-D! ESPN has announced that it will launch the first ever three-dimensional TV network later this year. 3D programming will begin this June with the soccer World Cup, and will also include the Summer X Games, the 2011 BCS National Championship, and NCAA basketball. Discovery and IMAX have also announced plans for their own 3D-TV networks. These announcements coincide with the unveiling of new 3D-capable TVs by Sony, Panasonic, and LG at the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
