In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium will offer free admission on Monday, January 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Martin Luther King Jr. taught us to appreciate uniqueness and diversity in one another. In that spirit, we invite all to enjoy a free visit on this national holiday,” President and CEO of the Columbus Zoo, Tom Stalf said.

Just because it may be cold there is plenty of exhibits to see. The new black bear cubs of the North American region, bison, cougars, otters, moose, reindeer and more.

Indoor exhibits are available to watch gorillas in Congo Expedition; a wombat, pygmy lorises, and other nocturnal animals in the Australia and Islands region.
