The luck of the Irish will be raining down on Columbus for St. Patrick’s Day. You don’t have to be Irish to participate and enjoy the celebrations that will be happening this year.

Get your green apparel, beads, hats and empty stomachs ready for some corn beef and cabbage, shepherd’s pie, and some libations. Don’t forget to come outside and participate in local parades and celebrations. Below is more information on what’s to come on March 17th and 18th.

March 17 & 18, All Day

Dublin, Ohio is the best place to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in Central Ohio. Bring the entire family to Downtown Dublin to enjoy this huge St. Patrick’s Day bash. Start with Flannagan’s Big Tent St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on the 17th which includes a 5k run and early morning breakfast.  If you still have the energy to burn, try the Blarney Bash on the 18th with live music, dancing, and drinks and food for sale. 

March 17, 9:30am-All Day

Columbus Saint Patrick’s Day parade is held on an actual day, Friday, March 17, 2017.

The annual parade is put on by the Shamrock Club of Columbus, a group honoring their Irish heritage all year. The day begins with a Mass at Holy Cross Church at 9:30 AM and the parade begins at 11:30 am on Nationwide Blvd in the Arena District and ends at the Veteran’s Memorial on W. Broad St. Their Irish family reunion is held directly after the parade;  tickets are on sale on their website.
