Strong earthquakes struck Qinghai, a western province of China’s western Qinghai province Wednesday.
As of 5:45 am EST today (Wednesday April 14) at least 400 people have been killed, 10,000 injured , and many other have been burried under toppled houses in the mountainous rural area.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the magnitude 6.9 quake struck an area in southern Qinghai, near Tibet, on Wednesday morning, followed by several aftershocks.
