LeBron Inks Deal with McDonald’s
LeBron James has been fined $25,000 for kicking a water bottle during the Cavs 109-95 win over the Timberwolves on Wednesday. We’re sure he’s not too worried though, considering he just signed a multi-year contract with another sponsor – McDonald’s. It’s for an undisclosed amount of money but it adds to his current list of sponsors that includes Nike and State Farm. Part of the deal is to have Bron-Bron support McDonald’s various promotions as well as its Ronald McDonald House Charities that provides housing for families with seriously ill children. Meanwhile, his first commercial will air during the Super Bowl on February 7th. According to reports, it will feature Orlando center Dwight Howard and Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird. It’s a takeoff of the famous 1993 “Showdown” between Bird and Michael Jordan. You remember: nothing but net.
