Description: A 3 to 6 month college level internship with primary responsibilities including, but not limited to: assisting the Web Services with website blogging, content management as well as the development of website content, and other duties as assigned.
We are an Urban Media Company with national connections looking for students interested in unpaid internship for school credit. Must be a computer/ internet junkie geek who loves to stay on top current events in music, pop culture, celebrity gossip, and local events and happenings of Cleveland!

Must be familiar with PC and MAC based software and willing to learn.
Must be familiar with photo and video editing software for basic editing.
Must be comfortable with being on camera and have interpersonal skills.
Must be familiar with Wordprees blog or willing to learn.
Must have a passion for technology and Urban media, entertainment, and news.
Must understand Online Social networks like Twitter and Facebook as well as the tools used to attract followers.
Must be hard working willing to get the job done no matter what it takes.
Must be active in the local events and Columbus scene.
Must be familiar with business networking and building relationships within community.
To qualify for a Web Services internship at Radio One, Inc. applicants must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and eligible to earn internship credit. A major in IT, Web Design, Web Graphic Design, Journalism and/or working knowledge and/or exposure to WordPress with HTML and blogging preferred. Applicants must be 18 years or older and possess a valid school identification. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be organized, self motivated, energetic and a dependable team player.
Online marketing thru SEO, online social networks, and interpersonal social networking.
Researching ideas, concepts and tools to optimize traffic to website.
Tedious photo editing, video editing, blog editing.
Organizing graphics library.
Constant aggregation of urban news, entertainment and content for the web via the internet and events in the local market.
Analyzing statistical data to optimize traffic to websites.
Comfortable with interviewing local talent and fans on camera for web content.
Working directly with Online Editor and Digital Sales Coordinator to manage web campaigns.
