LeBron James apparently didn’t mind spending a pile of cash to keep himself safe during his appearance in Greenwich, Connecticut when he made his decision about his NBA future. Local police say “producers” hired 21 police officers to work security at a rate of $60.00 an hour.  The final cost for security ended up being over $10,000. Police say it was LeBron’s “people” that ended up footing the bill, and not ESPN.  Most of the officers were assigned to crowd control.
