President Obama is scheduled to arrive in Columbus today.  He will spend the night  in the 1,500-square-foot, $2,500-a-night presidential suite at the Westin Great Southern Hotel.

Wednesday morning he will visit a yet-to-be identified home in Clintonville for a backyard discussion on the economy with selected families.  He will then headline a $500-to-$2,000-per-person fundraising luncheon at the Columbus Anthenaeum (32 N. 4th St.) in support of Governor Ted Strickland’s re-election.

Air Force One is expected to depart Port Columbus early afternoon on Wednesday.

Both events are closed to the public.
