For the first time Columbus City Schools are offering same-sex schools. Starting on August 25th Columbus will join districts across the country in offering the all-girls or all-boys classrooms. The Columbus City Preparatory School for Girls will focus on encouraging confidence in young women while officials say the Columbus City Preparatory School for Boys will channel their confidence and fine tune some of their specific education needs. Both schools will have mandatory uniforms.
