After being released by the Baltimore Ravens, Ohio State QB Legend and Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith signed a 1-Year deal with the San Francisco 49er’s on Monday.

Smith was drafted in the fifth-round by Baltimore in 2007 and has appeared in 14 games with two starts during his three-year career. He has completed 48 of 89 pass attempts for 558 yards, three touchdowns and one interception with a quarterback rating of 79.7.

Meanwhile in San Francisco, Troy joins former Cleveland Glendale High School and Ohio State Buckeye teammate Ted Ginn Jr., after Ginn was traded from Miami to the 49ers this past April.
