(AllHipHop News) A lawyer for DMX has confirmed that the rapper surrendered to authorities in Los Angeles today (July 26th) to begin serving a three month prison sentence.

According to The Brooklyn Eagle newspaper, Rockness Monsta or Rock from Helta Skeltah is currently on trial for attempted murder.

DMX could be a free man later today, after serving six months in an Arizona jail for violating the terms of his previous probation.
