Shyne recently announced that he was considering taking on a second record deal with Cash Money Records, in addition to the one he already has with Def Jam.

Shyne and his mohawk called up MTV to tell them how he felt about 50 Cent’s prank during his conference call.

What started out as a routine conference call among Shyne and a bunch of press and DJs quickly turned into quite the spectacle as 50 Cent decided to call in and heckle Shyne.

XXL’s September “Real Street” issue has a double cover with Shyne and Young Jeezy gracing it.

Shyne got the hint a few months back when the collective internets told him to stop releasing wack freestyles since he had just been released from jail.

And here it is: Shyne’s first official single since being released from prison and signing to Def Jam.

Shyne is gearing up to release the first official single from his upcoming album via a new deal between his Gangland Records, and Island/Def Jam.

Chairman of the Island Def Jam Music Group, Antonio “L.A.” Reid, chartered a private jet and flew to Belize yesterday to get Shyne’s signature on a multi-million dollar recording contract.

Four months after being released from prison and then deported to Belize, Shyne has reportedly signed a seven-figure deal with Def Jam Records.
