Hair and Hornets on Weezy’s First Free Day!
Fresh details have emerged on how Lil Wayne spent his first few hours as a free man. Shortly after he walked out of Rikers Island prison last Thursday morning, Wayne posted a tweet telling his fans: “Aaaaaaahhhhhhmmmmm baaaaakkkkkkkkkk. With the family… perfekto… R.I.P. Huddy6… Harlem stand up!”
FYI: Huddy6 was a friend of Wayne’s who died in a car accident last month (October 2010).
Weezy’s first stop after his release was a private home in New York City where he reunited with friends and relatives. After that, he checked into Manhattan’s luxurious Palace Hotel where his personal hairdresser spent a few hours styling Weezy’s dreads!
Wayne was back in his hometown of New Orleans on Friday night, kicking it courtside at the New Orleans Hornets / Miami Heat game. Hornets Guard Chris Paul provided tickets for Weezy, his manager Cortez Bryant and Young Money bosses Mack Maine and Bryan “Baby” Williams. (FYI: The Hornets beat the Heat 96 to 93.)
