The rumors have been swirling and now NBC has officially confirmed that Betty White will be indeed hosting Saturday Night Live on May 8th. This will be the first time hosting for White who has been acting since the 1940’s. She is most known for her role as Rose on the hit show The Golden Girls. She’s been seen recently on a Superbowl Snickers commercial that sparked a fan frenzy demanding that she host Saturday Night Live. I’m sure this will provide many good laughs on Mother’s Day Weekend.
